He will ALWAYS be with You

When I read the Scriptures and I see God calling people to do specific tasks, I see a consistent theme: the promise of His presences with them. He promised to be with Gideon when defeating a massive army. He promised to be with Moses and Joshua when leading the Israelites into the promised land. He promised to be with David when fighting Goliath and leading the Israelites as king. He promised to be with the prophets as they shared the messages God told them to share. And He promises to be with us.

When Jesus was about to leave this earth as a human, he gives his followers the task of making disciples and sharing the Gospel wherever we go. And in that promise, he assures them that he is always with them. That promise is also true for you. Whatever God has you doing today, His presence goes before you, follows behind you and even lives inside of you through the Holy Spirit.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or like you don't have what it takes to face whatever you're facing in your life today, may this promise from Jesus himself encourage you!

"And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b NLT)
