30 Days of Promises - #7

"WE ARE CITIZENS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD"

When someone is a citizen of a country, they have permanent access to everything in that country, and rights that others who visit the country don't have. It also means that we belong to a community of people who also call that country home.

Ephesians 2:19 says, "So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family." (Ephesians 2:19 NLT)

The Bible says that you and I are citizens of the Kingdom of God, with God's holy people. That means we have permanent access to God, and also share a community with others who have the same access. We belong to the Kingdom of God!
