30 Days of Promises - #2

"GOD HAS GIVEN US RIGHT STANDING WITH HIMSELF"

Romans 8:33 says the following:

"Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself." (Romans 8:33 NLT)

What is the definition of right standing? Quite simply, it means to be in right relationship with God. Because of Jesus, and because God has chosen you and I, we have right standing (relationship) with Him.

When did man last have right standing with God? In the Garden of Eden before we ate the fruit from the wrong tree. That means God has taken our relationship with Him back to how it was created to be - back to the Garden. While we are continually learning how to walk this out in our day to day lives, it doesn't change the reality of the promise that has not just been made, but fulfilled in our lives.

So today, as you go about your day, why not meditate on this reality and you and I have right standing with God, and thank Him?
