30 Days of Prayer (Day 21-30)

For days 21-30, we are shifting our focus to the world. Here is the outline of what we are praying through:

DAY 21 - For the destruction of the plans of the enemy and the triumph of the plans of God.

Colossians 2:13-15 – You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

DAY 22 - Pray for those who you know who don’t know Jesus yet.

1 Timothy 2:4 – He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

DAY 23 - For those who don’t know Jesus yet in your nation and any nation you feel led to pray for.

2 Peter 3:8-10 – But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

DAY 24 - For more workers to be sent into the harvest.

Matthew 9:35-38 – Jesus travelled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

DAY 25 - For the government of your nation and any other nations you feel led to pray for.

Romans 13:1-2 – Every person must submit to and support the authorities over him. For there can be no authority in the universe except by God’s appointment, which means that every authority that exists has been instituted by God. So to resist authority is to resist the divine order of God, which results in severe consequences.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 – Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Saviour-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

DAY 26 - Pray for those in corrupt and ungodly governments to come to know Jesus.

DAY 27 - Pray for those suffering from the physical and other effects of COVID.

Galatians 6:2 – Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

DAY 28 - Pray that the world will become more united and less divided.

DAY 29 - Pray for the media.

DAY 30 - Pray for whatever you feel led to pray for.
